Today on my walk – a dreary, cold day.
I noticed a bush with new buds growing and was reminded that even in the darkest moments of life there is always growth and renewal happening.
Every moment is a gift, another chance to make a new choice. To start again.
Last year I encouraged you to assess where you are in your life and make decisions about where you want to be in the coming year. (Uh…now that I look back, I see that was more than a year ago! Oh well… you know what they say about how time flies, right?)
Well…we all made our plans and resolutions and new starts last January…and then COVID-19 hit and blew us all out of the water!
I’m not going to go on about how hard 2020 was. So much has already been written by writers all over the world. We’re still in the midst of the struggle. And it is winter in North America. There is chaos in Washington, D. C. And the United States is waiting anxiously for our new President to take his seat and get to work.
Yet here we are, each with our own lives to live.
So I ask you again…where are you in your life right now? Where do you want to be? YOU get to choose! You get clear on what you want, you decide, and you take a step towards it. And then another step. And then another. And you get to rest. And you get to start again. And so on.
And if you’re not sure, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, or lost, or totally bummed, remember there are tons of resources and people available to help you. You are never alone. Please reach out in any way you can.
